St. Teresa’s Prayer Group Ekm Celebrates 50 Years of Grace A long and fruitful Journey of Communion and Joy  (Reflections from Dr. Edward Edezhath and 25 other group members, April 2026) Introduction  The beginnings of this group were quite simple, a modest follow-up to a four-day seminar in the summer of 1976. By now, it has endured for half a century as one of Kerala's best-known formative Catholic Charismatic fellowships. The St. Teresa's Prayer Group in Ernakulam did not set out to become anything big. A few youth and elders, inspired by the new wave of Charismatic Renewal, came together to praise, listen, pray, and grow. Yet from that humble beginning emerged generations of leaders, a network of outreaches, and a model of community life that quietly shaped the Jesus Youth Movement and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal across Kerala and beyond.
